Set it to true if you want N4 to treat all chassis as trucker owned chassis, by default.
The default value for the setting is false.
If you set ROADGATE009 to true and include the Chassis Is Owners check box in the gate forms or in the Appointment form, N4 displays the check box as selected, by default. A gate clerk can change the default value from the gate forms; however, if the gate stage is an automated gate stage, N4 always uses the default value.
When you post a process-truck API without the is-owners attribute in the chassis element, if the ROADGATE009 setting is:
true: N4 updates the Chs IsOwners = Yes in the Gate Transaction Inspector (on page 1).
false: N4 updates the Chs IsOwners = No in the Gate Transaction Inspector.
When you post a process-truck API with the is-owners attribute, N4 uses that value to update the Chs IsOwners field, regardless of the ROADGATE009 setting.
If the Chassis IsOwners check box is selected, N4 does not validate the chassis specified at the gate when a gate clerk receives or delivers a container on a chassis. For example, if the chassis is unknown to the system, N4 does not execute the RejectChassisUnknown (on page 1) business task even if the business task is included in the gate configuration.
